ABOUT OUR SEMINARS

New Directions In Distribution Warehousing

OBJECTIVES

Completion of this two day course will help participants to:

  • Determine the appropriate size of a new warehouse in warehouse storage units
  • Determine the warehouse size and configuration that will serve the business plan
  • Increase the space utilization in an existing warehouse
  • Improve picking productivity
  • Better control inventory

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

  • Managers and engineers responsible for warehousing operations.
  • Executives who want to understand the principles of warehousing and distribution.

This seminar has also been extremely helpful to those of limited experience in the field. This course presents the latest thinking in the down to earth basics of warehousing. It offers principles that can otherwise only be learned from experience. It stresses presentation of techniques that can be evaluated in real time and money saved. These are the "how to do it" subjects that are not usually found in the available literature. Economics and practical results are stressed in a presentation that covers the basics while presenting the newest aspects of cost effective warehouse and distribution.

A LETTER FROM ART LIEBESKIND

Dear Warehouse/Distribution Manager,

For the past decade, I've been taking time out from an active consulting schedule to lead my favorite seminar, Distribution Warehousing Picking and Packing. Over the years I have realized that even though the course topics have remained the same, the solutions and approaches to the topics have changed with time. The advent of the personal computer alone has made it possible to do more than ever before with warehouse control. Guided robot vehicles priced for smaller operations have influenced horizontal transportation solutions vastly. The field has changed and we must change with it. We have rewritten and organized our well known two day seminar and are proud to present New Directions In Warehousing. This seminar is designed to bring the seasoned practitioner up to date as well as to open the eyes of new warehousing managers to a wide potential of savings and profits. We think that a session on "New Directions In Warehousing" will be time well spent and we look forward to seeing you at our seminar. Remember that in-house seminars on your premises are an effective and cost effective means of training your management and associates.

Sincerely,

Art Liebeskind
